Every member of this community deserves to feel valued, respected and safe — regardless of their background, appearance, age, identity or relationship intentions.

- If someone isn't interested, accept that gracefully and move on
03. Communicate Clearly
Be open about your intentions from the start. Clear communication reduces misunderstandings, protects feelings and creates far better experiences for everyone involved.
- Be upfront about what you're looking for — dating, friendship, or social connection
- Don't ghost — if you're not interested, a kind message is far better than silence
- Raise concerns with the Mingle+Match team rather than escalating privately
- Use the platform's messaging tools — don't pressure people off-platform early

- Contribute to a warm, welcoming atmosphere at events
- Encourage others — especially those who seem nervous or new
- Report behaviour that doesn't belong here rather than ignoring it
- Celebrate others' connections — this community succeeds when people find what they're looking for
05. Respect Boundaries
Everyone has different comfort levels, pacing preferences and personal limits. Respecting those boundaries is not optional — it is essential to everything we are building here.
- Take no for an answer — always, and immediately
- Don't push for personal contact details before someone is comfortable
- Respect physical boundaries at events — ask before touching
- If someone blocks you, do not attempt to contact them through other means
06. Prioritise Safety
Your safety — and the safety of every person in this community — matters deeply. Any behaviour that threatens, manipulates, deceives or harms others has no place here.
- Never share another member's personal information without their consent
- Report suspicious profiles, fake accounts or concerning behaviour immediately
- Meet for the first time in public places — trust your instincts
- If something feels wrong, it probably is — contact the Mingle+Match team
What happens when the Charter is violated
- First reported violation — formal warning and mandatory Charter review
- Second violation — temporary suspension pending investigation
- Serious or repeated violations — permanent removal from the platform
- Permanent bans are enforced across email, phone, device and account — not just a profile deletion
- In cases involving illegal behaviour, relevant authorities will be notified
