Why I built Mingle+Match
Mingle+Match began with conversations.
Over time, I found myself speaking with more and more singles who shared similar frustrations. Some were newly single after long-term relationships. Others had spent years navigating dating apps that left them feeling disconnected and discouraged. Many simply felt that meeting new people had become harder as they got older.
What struck me most wasn't that people were looking for the perfect partner.
They were looking for genuine connection.
They wanted meaningful conversations, opportunities to meet people face-to-face, and environments where they could be themselves without pressure or judgement.
The more stories I heard, the more I realised there was a gap between what singles needed and what was being offered.
And honestly — I'd felt it too. That's not a small thing to admit, but it's why this isn't a product to me. It's personal.
That's why I created Mingle+Match.
